2017: 

The 2016 preparedness assessment is the basis for the Disaster Preparedness Workshop for the National Disaster Center of Papua New Guinea (PNG).

 

2016:

  • End-Stage of Minimum Data Set Working Group (MDS-WG) for Standardized Medical Report in Disaster: The Special Working Group combines members of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and other international Medical and Humanitarian Organizations and cooperates with the WHO. Swiss/Japan/Israel.

  • Disaster Preparedness Workshop for the Office for Emergency Management of the Chengdu Municipal Government. Chengdu, China.

  • The Papua New Guinea (PNG) government requested the National Disaster Assessment, which was conducted in cooperation with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

  • An Emergency Management Workshop in Disaster for Ukraine Ministry of Health Policy Makers, cooperating with the Ukraine World Health Organization (WHO).

  • Emergency Medicine Course for Emergency Department staff, Kharkiv, Ukraine. Cooperated with the Ukraine Ministry of Health (MOH) and Israeli Ministry of Froing Affairs (MFA).

  • Medical Management of Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI) and Disaster Preparedness Workshop for Health and Family Commissioners, Chongqing, China, cooperating with the Israeli MFA.

2015:

  • MDS-WG for Standardized Medical Report in Disaster: a member of the Special Working Group combined members from JICA and other international Medical and Humanitarian Organizations and cooperated with the WHO. Swiss/Japan/Israel.

  • The STP government requested the UN—OCHA—UNDAC / CADRI Disaster Preparedness Assessment in Sao Tome and Principe (STP).

  • Emergency Management Workshop in Disaster for Ukraine nurses and physicians cooperated with the Ukraine WHO.

  • Emergency Management Workshop in Disaster for Ukraine MOH Policy Makers cooperated with the Ukraine WHO.

2014:

  • Disaster Preparedness Workshop and Drill for the MOH Nanjing, China. Cooperated with the Nanjing Administration of Foreign Affairs, Nanjing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning, and the China Association for International Exchange of Personnel.

  • Assessment of Hospital function’s capability and writing a proposal for an updated facility in Gabon, Africa. Requested by the Gabon President's Office.

  • Disaster Preparedness Workshop for Policy Makers from Different Agencies Involved with Disaster Response, Beijing, China. Cooperated with Beijing Administration of Foreign Affairs, Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning, and the China Association for International Exchange of Personnel.  

2013:

  • Trauma and MCI course for physicians and nurses from Dulikhill Medical Center, Kathmandu, Nepal. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

  • Operated a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) donated by the Israeli Government to the people of South Sudan. Trained local staff in the Unit. Provided ICU courses for medical and nursing staff. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA and the Presidential Office in South Sudan.

  

 2012:

  • Disaster Preparedness Workshop for Policy Makers, Yerevan, Armenia. Cooperated with the Armenian office for emergencies and the Israeli MFA. 

  • An Emergency Medicine Workshop for physicians, nurses, and hospital policymakers in Kumasi, Ghana, cooperating with the Israeli MFA and the Millennium Cities Initiative in Africa.

  • A Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Workshop for physicians and policymakers in Kumasi, Ghana, cooperating with the Israeli MFA and the Millennium Cities Initiative in Africa.

 

 

  • Operated Trauma Unit and trained medical staff in Trauma care following the Haiti Earthquake in Cape Haitian, Haiti. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA. 

  • Disaster Preparedness Workshop for medical staff, including Drill and Preparedness Assessment, Bucharest, Romania. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

  • A Disaster Preparedness Workshop for firefighters and Police forces in Brasilia, Brazil.  The workshop was coordinated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Brazil and the Israeli MFA.

  • Disaster Preparedness consulting and Workshop to CONRED (Honduras National Organization for Disaster Response). Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

  •  Disaster Preparedness consulting and Workshop to COPECO (Guatemala National    Organization for Disaster Response). Guatemala City, Guatemala.

  • Introduction to Emergency Medicine Course for medical staff. Operated Emergency Unit following re-building the unit with the Israeli MFA. Training medical staff while working in the unit and establishing its function's infrastructure.  Kisumu, Kenya. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

2010:

  • A Disaster Preparedness Workshop was delivered to policymakers for the Maldives government. The workshop cooperated with the Israeli MFA Male, the Maldives.

  • MCI Workshop for physicians and policymakers, Kumasi, Ghana.

  • Disaster Preparedness consulting for the municipality of Kumasi as part of the city's preparation for the African football games in Kumasi, Ghana.

2006:

  • A Disaster Preparedness Workshop was delivered to policymakers and hospital teams from MALAGU Medical Center. The workshop included the MCI drill and hospital assessment for MCI preparedness. Kampala, Uganda. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

  • MCI Preparedness Workshop at the Swedish Medical Center, Seattle, Washington

  • MCI Preparedness Workshop in Vladislava, Poland, cooperated with Medycyna Praktyczna, Krakow, Poland.

  • Cooperated with the Israeli ambulance services – Magen David Adom (MDA), to deliver ambulances donated from Israel to the people of Kenya.

  • Member of the Israeli medical-humanitarian delegation to Thailand following the Tsunami.

  • Cooperated with the Israeli ambulance services – Magen David Adom (MDA), to deliver ambulances donated from Israel to the people of Afghanistan.

  • Established and provided a unique training program for Iraqi physicians, cooperating with the Polish Medical Mission (PMM), Krakow, Poland.

  • MCI Preparedness Workshop at Jacobi Medical Center, New York. The USA.

  • An Emergency Medicine Workshop for Medical Policy Makers and Emergency Medicine Services (EMS) was held in cooperation with Medycyna Praktyczna, Krakow, Poland.

  • The MCI Preparedness Workshop and Drill in Limanova, Poland, was conducted in cooperation with Medycyna Praktyczna, local police, fire brigades, EMS, and Special Forces, Krakow, Poland.

  • Trained and qualified Polish team to become instructors of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) and become a Polish International Training Organization (ITO) of the AHA; the course took place in Krakow, Poland.  

  • A Combat Medicine Workshop and Drill were held in Limanova, Poland, in cooperation with Medycyn Praktyczna, local police, fire brigades, EMS, and Special Forces.

  • In charge of the national workshop for all Israeli Emergency Department and identified hospitals to observe patients with SARS: Preparedness for Treatment SARS, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Health- Emergency Division and IDF - Home Front Command, Israel.  

  • In charge of the national workshop for all Israeli Emergency Department: Preparedness for Biological Terror with the cooperation from the Ministry of Health- Emergency Division, IDF - Home Front Command, and Israeli Association for Emergency Medicine. Israel.     

  • Trained medical team and operated a new Intensive care Unit (ICU) at   Komfo Anochi Hospital, Kumasi, Ghana.

  • Emergency Medicine Course in Krakow, Poland. Cooperated Medycyna  Praktyczna,

  • Established and provided Emergency Medicine Course in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; developed the fundamental stage for establishing Emergency Medicine as a profession in Addis Ababa International Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School (IEMH).

  • Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services training in the Democratic Republic of Cameroon. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

  • Emergency Preparedness Biological Non-conventional training for physicians in Mexico City. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

  • ICU opening and medical and nursing personnel training in Amman, Jordan. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

2001

  • Disaster Preparedness Workshop for Hospital’s Directors at Memorial Health Care System, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

  • Emergency Medicine course in Baku, Azerbaijan. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA.​​​​

  • Helped with the establishment of Emergency Medicine Services in Duzce, Turkey. Including doctrine development and training. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

  • Disaster preparedness workshop for all organizations in Mumbai, India.

  • The ODRON team opened the ICU in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and trained local teams to work there. ODRON  also cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

  • Mass casualty and Trauma course for medical staff at Lilavati Medical Center, Mumbai, India, cooperated with the Israeli MFA.

  • Trauma and MCI course for medical and managerial policymakers in D.R. Congo. Cooperated with the Israeli MFA and the WHO.​

2000:

  • Opened and operated an ICU in Duzce, Turkey, following the earthquake in 1999. Trained and drilled local team for trauma care.

  • Emergency Medicine \course, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

1999:

Provided Emergency Medicine training in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  Cooperated with the Israeli MFA and IEMH to conduct an Emergency Medicine Course and help establish Emergency Medicine Services.

  • Surveyed Emergency Medicine to prioritize the requirement for personnel and equipment to establish Emergency Medicine Services. Provided Emergency Medicine Course. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
